About Kirsten Westholter
Aimed at helping clients achieve customer excellence through process improvements, Rising Phoenix Consultancy has been established by experienced Dutch consultant Kirsten Westholter.
Kirsten first visited Dubai on a retail supply-chain project with former employer Molenaar & Lok Consultancy (MLC) almost 5 years ago and has since relocated permanently after falling in love with life in the emirate.
With a Masters in Economics and further post-graduate studies in strategic and change management, Kirsten kicked off her career with tech consultancy Sogeti (a part of Capgemini), altogether spending 13 years with the firm and working on long-term assignments for Dutch bank ABN AMRO and other assignments across different industry sectors.
From there, Kirsten joined Molenaar & Lok Consultancy (MLC) – a Dutch consulting firm specialised in Customer Excellence – which would, after a long-term assignment for adidas at their headquarters in Germany, lead the senior consultant to Dubai on a transformation project for local retailer Home Centre, with a focus on supply-chain processes improvement. This would require Kirsten to travel continuously between the Netherlands and UAE.
Following this assignment Kirsten decided to exchange her former life for new horizons in Dubai and was offered a position as a senior business analyst/consultant with German fintech firm Fidor and being immediately thrown into an assignment for ADIB.
And then, after a bit longer than 2 years living and working in the region, Kirsten felt ready again for another new challenge; with the launch of Rising Phoenix Consultancy coming as a result.
That result, Rising Phoenix, is a cross-sector consultancy focused on helping clients increasing their organization’s efficiency and achieving true customer excellence – with Kirsten applying her expertise and experience gained across Europe and the Middle East in Process Optimization, Business Transformation and Business Modeling, Project Management, and Customer Excellence.
